Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vincennes Rivet Patriots (Vincennes, IN), 69-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Wood Memorial upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Trojans travel to Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Evansville Christian lost 64-59 in their recent non-league bout against Christian Academy (New Albany, IN)

Next up, the Patriots play the Washington Catholic Cardinals (Washington, IN) in a Blue Chip bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Vincennes Rivet will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 69-44 non-league loss to North Central (Farmersburg, IN).
