The Bronson Vikings (Bronson, MI) basketball felled the host Union City Chargers (Union City, MI), 47-29 in Thursday's league test.

The Vikings (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Lenawee Christian was beaten by St. Patrick (Portland, MI), 66-56, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to Reading for a Big 8 test on Thursday, February 9. Union City will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 61-56 league win over Homer (Homer, MI). The Rangers record now stands at 11-5.
