The La Veta Redhawks (La Veta, CO) basketball knocked off the host Cotopaxi Pirates (Cotopaxi, CO), 43-32 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Redhawks (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Walsh (Walsh, CO). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 0-13 record. In their last outing, Walsh was topped by Deerfield (Deerfield, KS), 44-36, in a non-league outing.
