In Thursday's league outing, the Highlands Golden Rams (Natrona Heights, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Derry Trojans (Derry, PA), by a count of 50-20.

The Golden Rams (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA). The Golden Lions go into the WPIAL 4A 1 outing with a 13-7 record. In their last outing, Greensburg Salem was crushed by Knoch (Saxonburg, PA), 48-43, in a league outing.
