New Mexico High School Basketball - Organ Mountain holds off Gadsden
February 2, 2023: Anthony, NM 88021 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) and the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), saw Organ Mountain's basketball squad hold off Gadsden by a tally of 37-34.
With the victory, Organ Mountain improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Knights host Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to confront the Tigers in a 5A District 3 challenge on Monday, February 6. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-12. Alamogordo lost 60-31 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 challenge, on Monday, February 6. Gadsden will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Bulldawgs come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 45-32 league win over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
