Iowa High School Basketball - Glenwood holds off St. Albert
February 2, 2023: Glenwood, IA 51534 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) and the visiting St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA), saw Glenwood's basketball squad hold off St. Albert by a tally of 49-45.
With the victory, Glenwood improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA) to confront the Titans in a Hawkeye Ten challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Lewis Central lost 44-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Gretna (Gretna, NE)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. St. Albert will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 17-2 record after their 68-33 league win over AHSTW (Avoca, IA).
