Ohio High School Basketball - Poland Seminary tops Hubbard
February 2, 2023: Hubbard, OH 44425 Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hubbard Eagles (Hubbard, OH), 36-21 in a league bout.
With the victory, Poland Seminary upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Lakeview (Cortland, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Northeast Eight bout on Monday, February 6. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 10-10. Lakeview won 32-24 in their recent league bout against Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH)
Next up, the Eagles play the Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 9. Hubbard will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the battle with a 13-7 record after their 48-44 league win over Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH).
