Michigan High School Basketball - St. Charles overwhelms Montabella
February 2, 2023: Blanchard, MI 49310 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI) and the host Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI), saw St. Charles's basketball squad wallop Montabella by a tally of 53-21.
With the victory, St. Charles improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI) to confront the Eagles in a Mid-State challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Carson City-Crystal won 44-26 in their recent league challenge against Fulton (Middleton, MI)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Ashley Bears (Ashley, MI) in a Mid-State challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Montabella will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 67-10 league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI).
