The Morrison Mustangs basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Orion Chargers to 24 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockridge for a Three Rivers - West contest on Monday, February 6. Morrison will battle a Rockets team coming off a 38-25 league win over Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 3-19.

The Chargers (13-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 5-23 record. In their last contest, Bushnell-Prairie City was routed by Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL), 47-40, in a league contest.
