Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA), 43-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Cougars host Chico (Chico, CA) to play the Panthers in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Chico won 40-24 in their recent league bout against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Shasta will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 19-3 record after their 49-9 non-league win over Sutter (Sutter, CA).
