California High School Soccer - Hilltop knocks off San Ysidro
February 2, 2023: San Diego, CA 92154 Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lancers face the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Hilltop will attempt to better on its 3-14 season record. The Foothillers enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 14-0 league loss to Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA).
The Cougars now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montgomery for a challenge on Tuesday, February 7. San Ysidro will meet a Aztecs squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 0-3.
