In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons basketball team scored a decisive 82-57 triumph over the Union Knights.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - East match, on Saturday, February 3. Aplington-Parkersburg will attempt to move on its 13-4 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 18-1 record after their 65-30 league win over Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA).
