The Mountain Mission (Grundy, VA) varsity basketball team won Friday's home conference game against Appalachian Christian Team Sports (ACTS) (Abingdon, VA) by a score of 74-56.
The Mountain Mission Challengers basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Appalachian Christian HomeSchool Warriors to 56 in the Challengers non-league victory on Friday.
The Challengers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2.
The Warriors (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Educational Consortium (Louisville, KY). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Christian Educational Consortium was defeated by Louisville Saints HomeSchool (Louisville, KY), 74-64, in a league contest.
