The Halifax County Comets tipped the host Bassett Bengals basketball team by a final score of 56-50 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Comets face the Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 5. Halifax County will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record.
