Connecticut High School Basketball - West Haven crushes Branford
February 2, 2024: Branford, CT 06405 West Haven Blue Devils (West Haven, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Branford Hornets (Branford, CT), 68-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Haven upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT) to play the Jesuits in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Jesuits go into the bout with a record of 2-13. Fairfield Prep lost 71-41 in their recent non-league bout against Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT)
Next up, the Hornets play the Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Branford will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Governors go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 71-41 non-league win over Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT).
