Texas High School Basketball - Colmesneil overwhelmed by Broaddus
February 2, 2024: Broaddus, TX 75929 The Broaddus Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Colmesneil Bulldogs to 29 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woden for a 2A Region III District 24 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Broaddus will battle a Eagles team coming off a 72-40 league win over Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 12-15.
The Bulldogs (5-22) will now prepare for their contest against San Augustine (San Augustine, TX). The Wolves come into the 2A Region III District 24 contest with a 16-8 record. In their last contest, San Augustine triumphed over Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX), 70-47, in a league contest.
