Massachusetts High School Basketball - Charlestown overwhelms New Mission
February 2, 2024: Charlestown, MA 02129 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Charlestown Townies (Charlestown, MA) and the visiting New Mission Titans (Boston, MA), saw Charlestown's basketball squad wallop New Mission by a tally of 72-43.
With the victory, Charlestown improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Townies host Boston English (Boston, MA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Boston English lost 95-45 in their recent league challenge against Burke (Dorchester, MA)
Next up, the Titans play the Brighton/Boston Academy Bengals (Brighton, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. New Mission will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record.
