February 2, 2024: Cheney, WA 99004 In Friday's league outing, the Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) basketball squad edged the visiting University Titans (Spokane, WA), by a margin of 50-43.
The Blackhawks (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against North Central (Spokane, WA). The Wolfpack go into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, North Central held off Ferris (Spokane, WA), 74-55, in a league outing.
The Titans now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Central Valley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 6. University will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 78-60 league loss to Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA). The Bears record now stands at 1-17.
