Wisconsin High School Basketball - Stratford holds off Chequamegon
February 2, 2024: Stratford, WI 54484 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Stratford Tigers (Stratford, WI) and the visiting Chequamegon Screaming Eagles (Park Falls, WI), saw Stratford's basketball squad hold off Chequamegon by a tally of 46-43.
With the victory, Stratford improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Greenwood (Greenwood, WI) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-15. Greenwood lost 65-19 in their recent league challenge against Colby (Colby, WI)
Next up, the Screaming Eagles confront the Rib Lake Redmen (Rib Lake, WI) in a Marawood - North challenge, on Monday, February 5. Chequamegon will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Redmen come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 66-39 non-league win over Newman (Wausau, WI).
