Wisconsin High School Basketball - Prentice fells Chequamegon
January 30, 2024: Prentice, WI 54556 Prentice Buccaneers (Prentice, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chequamegon Screaming Eagles (Park Falls, WI), 71-61 in a league bout.
With the win, Prentice upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Auburndale (Auburndale, WI) to clash with the Apaches in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Apaches go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Auburndale won 77-39 in their recent league bout against Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids, WI)
Next up, the Screaming Eagles clash with the Stratford Tigers (Stratford, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Chequamegon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 60-49 league loss to Edgar (Edgar, WI).
