Ohio High School Basketball - Ridgedale holds off Cory-Rawson
February 2, 2024: Morral, OH 43337 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) and the visiting Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets (Rawson, OH), saw Ridgedale's basketball squad hold off Cory-Rawson by a tally of 35-32.
With the victory, Ridgedale improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH) to confront the Rams in a Northwest Central challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Upper Scioto Valley lost 63-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Coldwater (Coldwater, OH)
Next up, the Fighting Hornets confront the McComb Panthers (McComb, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Cory-Rawson will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 54-53 non-league loss to Leipsic (Leipsic, OH).
