Tennessee High School Basketball - Creek Wood can't hold off Fairview
February 2, 2024: Fairview, TN 37062 The Fairview Yellowjackets basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Creek Wood Red Hawks to 65 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harpeth for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Fairview will battle a Indians team coming off a 68-49 league loss to Cheatham County Central (Ashland City, TN). The Indians record now stands at 4-17.
The Red Hawks (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sycamore (Pleasant View, TN). The War Eagles enter the 3A District 11 contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Sycamore nudged Montgomery Central (Cunningham, TN), 59-46, in a league contest.
