Wisconsin High School Basketball - Mineral Point knocked off by Darlington
February 2, 2024: Darlington, WI 53530 The Darlington Redbirds basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Mineral Point Pointers to 60 in the Redbirds league triumph on Friday.
The Redbirds now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Salem for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Darlington will meet a Panthers team coming off a 102-68 league win over Westby (Westby, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 15-3.
The Pointers (17-1) will now prepare for their contest against Potosi (Potosi, WI). The Chieftains enter the non-league contest with a 16-3 record. In their last contest, Potosi ran past Argyle (Argyle, WI), 66-38, in a non-league contest.
