February 2, 2024: Dubuque, IA 52002 Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hempstead Mustangs (Dubuque, IA), 66-32 in a league bout.
With the win, Dubuque Senior upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Madison East (Madison, WI) to clash with the Purgolders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Purgolders go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Madison East lost 103-81 in their recent league bout against Sun Prairie East (Sun Prairie, WI)
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Hempstead will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 12-10 record after their 59-55 non-league loss to Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA).
