Ohio High School Basketball - Eastern knocked off by Western
February 2, 2024: Beaver, OH 45613 The Western Indians basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Eastern Eagles to 64 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Hill for a Southern Ohio II contest on Tuesday, February 6. Western will battle a Oaks team coming off a 52-49 league loss to Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH). The Oaks record now stands at 5-12.
The Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against New Hope Christian Academy (Circleville, OH). The Statesmen enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, New Hope Christian Academy ran past Fairfield Christian Academy (Lancaster, OH), 76-66, in a non-league contest.
