Oregon High School Basketball - Grants Pass overwhelms Willamette
February 2, 2024: Eugene, OR 97402 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) and the host Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), saw Grants Pass's basketball squad wallop Willamette by a count of 74-42.
With the victory, Grants Pass upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to North Medford (Medford, OR) to play the Black Tornado in a 6A Southwest challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Black Tornado come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. North Medford won 59-58 in their recent league challenge against South Eugene (Eugene, OR)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Willamette will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Irish come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 74-65 league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR).
