Florida High School Basketball - Nature Coast Tech thwarts Gulf

February 2, 2024: New Port Richey, FL 34652

The Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL) basketball knocked off the host Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL), 51-33 in Friday's non-league test.

The Sharks (13-12) will now prepare for their test against Anclote (Holiday, FL). The Sharks go into the non-league test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Anclote went down by Countryside (Clearwater, FL), 62-26, in a non-league test.

The Buccaneers now own a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to Fivay for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Gulf will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 65-47 league win over Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 14-11.
