The Central Bears basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks to 43 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vanguard for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 31. Central will battle a Knights team coming off a 73-56 non-league win over West Port (Ocala, FL). The Knights record now stands at 14-8.

The Sharks (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Dunnellon ran past Saint Francis Catholic (Gainesville, FL), 71-55, in a non-league contest.
