Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), 37-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hernando upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Leopards host Hudson (Hudson, FL) to play the Cobras in a 4A District 9 bout on Thursday, December 21. The Cobras come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Hudson lost 83-55 in their recent non-league bout against Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL)

Next up, the Sharks play the Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Nature Coast Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Coyotes come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 49-36 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, FL).
