Florida High School Basketball - Nature Coast Tech nips Crystal River

Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL), 50-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Nature Coast Tech upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Sharks host Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL) to play the Hornets in a 4A District 9 bout on Friday, December 1. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Weeki Wachee lost 66-29 in their recent non-league bout against East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL)

Next up, the Pirates play the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes (Spring Hill, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Crystal River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 59-47 non-league win over Academy at the Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL).
