The Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL) basketball knocked off the host Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL), 65-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Mitchell went down by Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL), 84-76, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Springstead for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 10.
