Texas High School Basketball - Tuloso-Midway holds off King
February 2, 2024: Kingsville, TX 78364 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tuloso-Midway Warriors (Corpus Christi, TX) and the host King Brahmas (Kingsville, TX), saw Tuloso-Midway's basketball squad hold off King by a tally of 54-53.
With the victory, Tuloso-Midway improves its record to 16-14 on the campaign. The Warriors host Bishop (Bishop, TX) to confront the Badgers in a 4A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Badgers come into the challenge with a record of 23-9. Bishop won 97-54 in their recent league challenge against Alice (Alice, TX)
Next up, the Brahmas confront the Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. King will attempt to improve on its 13-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 15-16 record after their 45-40 league loss to Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX).
