New Jersey High School Basketball - Lenape Valley nips Kittatinny Regional
February 2, 2024: Newton, NJ 07860 Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ), 62-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lenape Valley upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Patriots travel to Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Mountain Lakes won 58-55 in their recent non-league bout against Sussex County Tech (Sparta, NJ)
Next up, the Cougars play the American Christian School (Wharton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Kittatinny Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 84-35 league win over Kearny Christian Academy (Kearny, NJ).
