Vermont High School Basketball - Proctor can't hold off Long Trail
February 2, 2024: Dorset, VT 05251 The Long Trail basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Proctor Phantoms to 58 in the league victory on Friday.
The now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Long Trail will battle a Cosmos team coming off a 73-65 non-league win over Windsor (Windsor, VT). The Cosmos record now stands at 7-9.
The Phantoms (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Twinfield (Plainfield, VT). The Trojans come into the Southern Vermont - D contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Twinfield was nudged by Danville (Danville, VT), 48-32, in a non-league contest.
