Wisconsin High School Basketball - New Glarus nips Marshall
February 2, 2024: New Glarus, WI 53574 New Glarus Glarner Knights (New Glarus, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Marshall Cardinals (Marshall, WI), 62-61 in a league bout.
With the win, New Glarus upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Glarner Knights travel to Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI) to play the Vanguards in a Capitol - South bout on Thursday, February 8. The Vanguards go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Wisconsin Heights lost 80-51 in their recent league bout against Belleville (Belleville, WI)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Markesan Hornets (Markesan, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 77-59 league loss to Fall River (Fall River, WI).
