February 2, 2024: Willoughby, OH 44094 In Friday's league match, the visiting Mayfield Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 59-54 triumph over the South Rebels.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) in a Western Reserve match, on Tuesday, February 6. Mayfield will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a 4-11 record after their 68-52 non-league loss to Berkshire (Burton, OH).
With the defeat, South moves to 7-8 on the season. The Rebels host Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to encounter the Bombers in a Western Reserve test on Saturday, February 3. The Bombers go into the test with a record of 2-15. Kenston won 56-50 in their recent league test against Riverside (Painesville, OH)
