Tennessee High School Basketball - Ridgeway thwarts Melrose

February 2, 2024: Memphis, TN 38119

The Ridgeway Roadrunners (Memphis, TN) basketball knocked off the visiting Melrose Golden Wildcats (Memphis, TN), 79-65 in Friday's league test.

The Roadrunners (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Power Center Academy (Memphis, TN). The Knights go into the 3A District 16 test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Power Center Academy went down by Ridgeway (Memphis, TN), 72-61, in a league test.

The Golden Wildcats now own a 18-7 record. They play next when they host Hamilton for a 3A District 16 test on Tuesday, February 6. Melrose will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 73-68 league win over Kirby (Memphis, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-14.
