Ohio High School Basketball - Sandusky tops Perkins

Sandusky Blue Streaks (Sandusky, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH), 71-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sandusky upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks travel to Scott (Toledo, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Scott won 46-43 in their recent non-league bout against Northview (Sylvania, OH)

Next up, the Pirates play the Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Perkins will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Sailors come into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 72-31 league loss to Margaretta (Castalia, OH).
