February 2, 2024: Broadus, MT 59317 In Friday's league outing, the Powder River County Hawks (Broadus, MT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wibaux Longhorns (Wibaux, MT), by a margin of 83-38.
The Hawks (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Garfield County (Jordan, MT). The Mustangs go into the C District 4 outing with a 9-0 record. In their last outing, Garfield County smashed Terry (Terry, MT), 62-47, in a league outing.
The Longhorns now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Terry for a C District 4 outing on Friday, February 9. Wibaux will clash with a Terriers squad coming off a 51-50 non-league loss to Carter County (Ekalaka, MT). The Terriers record now stands at 3-13.
