Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA), 53-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Shippensburg upgrades its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Boiling Springs (Boiling Springs, PA) to play the Bubblers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Bubblers come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Boiling Springs won 76-67 in their recent league battle against Steelton-Highspire (Steelton, PA)

The Mustangs (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Susquenita (Duncannon, PA). The Blackhawks come into the non-league battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Susquenita was toppled by Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA), 43-40, in a league battle.
