February 2, 2024: Belding, MI 48809 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the NorthPointe Christian Mustangs (Grand Rapids, MI) and the host Belding Black Knights (Belding, MI), saw NorthPointe Christian's basketball squad hold off Belding by a tally of 52-48.
With the victory, NorthPointe Christian improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI) to play the Rockets in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Kelloggsville lost 63-27 in their recent league challenge against Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI)
Next up, the Black Knights play the Calvin Christian Squires (Grandville, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Belding will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Squires come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 63-27 league win over Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI).
