Arkansas High School Basketball - Cedarville nips Charleston
February 2, 2024: Charleston, AR 72933 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cedarville Pirates (Cedarville, AR) and the host Charleston Tigers (Charleston, AR), saw Cedarville's basketball squad hold off Charleston by a count of 32-26.
With the victory, Cedarville upgrades its record to 14-12 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Hackett (Hackett, AR) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Hackett won 57-53 in their recent league challenge against Paris (Paris, AR)
Next up, the Tigers play the Paris Eagles (Paris, AR) in a 3A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Charleston will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 57-53 league loss to Hackett (Hackett, AR).
