Texas High School Basketball - Lubbock Christian crushes Covenant Classical
February 2, 2024: Lubbock, TX 79407 Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Covenant Classical Cavaliers (Fort Worth, TX), 54-16 in a league bout.
With the win, Lubbock Christian upgrades its record to 25-8 on the season. The Eagles host Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX) to play the Mustangs in a TAPPS 3A District 1 bout on Saturday, February 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 17-8. Fellowship Academy lost 70-30 in their recent league bout against San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots (Amarillo, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 1 bout, on Saturday, February 3. Covenant Classical will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 23-8 record after their 70-30 league win over Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX).
