Colorado High School Basketball - Delta overwhelms Steamboat Springs
February 2, 2024: Steamboat Springs, CO 80487 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Delta Panthers (Delta, CO) and the host Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO), saw Delta's basketball squad wallop Steamboat Springs by a tally of 55-16.
With the victory, Delta improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Montrose (Montrose, CO) to confront the Red Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Red Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-5.
Next up, the Sailors confront the Basalt Longhorns (Basalt, CO) in a 4A Western Slope challenge, on Friday, February 9. Steamboat Springs will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 62-20 league loss to Summit (Frisco, CO).
