February 2, 2024: Winsted, CT 06098 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT) and the visiting Gilbert Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT), saw Northwestern Regional's basketball squad wallop Gilbert by a tally of 66-40.
With the victory, Northwestern Regional improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Wamogo (Litchfield, CT) to confront the Warriors in a Berkshire challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Wamogo lost 39-27 in their recent league challenge against Litchfield (Litchfield, CT)
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) in a Berkshire challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Gilbert will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 44-27 league loss to Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT).
