Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) and the visiting Hephzibah Rebels (Hephzibah, GA), saw Academy of Richmond County's basketball squad hold off Hephzibah by a tally of 49-45.

With the victory, Academy of Richmond County improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Musketeers travel to Salem (Conyers, GA) to confront the Seminoles in a AAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a record of 2-17.

Next up, the Rebels confront the Cross Creek Razorbacks (Augusta, GA) in a AAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Hephzibah will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Razorbacks come into the challenge with a 19-4 record after their 58-49 league win over Morgan County (Madison, GA).
