Independence 76ers (Columbus, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Cowboys (Columbus, OH), 50-8 in a league bout.

With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season.

Next up, the Cowboys play the East Tigers (Columbus, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. West will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 60-22 non-league win over Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH).
