Missouri High School Basketball - South Shelby tipped by Palmyra
February 2, 2024: Palmyra, MO 63461 The Palmyra Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting South Shelby Cardinals to 44 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central/Southeastern for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Palmyra will meet a Panthers team coming off a 69-39 league win over Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 22-2.
The Cardinals (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brookfield (Brookfield, MO). The Bulldogs enter the Clarence Cannon contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Brookfield nudged Clark County (Kahoka, MO), 49-33, in a league contest.
