The Wyatt Chaparrals routed the visiting Polytechnic Parrots basketball team by a tally of 61-19 in Friday's league battle.

The Chaparrals now possess a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everman for a 5A Region I District 6 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Wyatt will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-6 league win over South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-11.

The Parrots (6-16) will now prepare for their battle against Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region I District 6 battle with a 5-18 record. In their last battle, Trimble Tech was overwhelmed by Arlington Heights (Fort Worth, TX), 60-21, in a league battle.
