North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilson Christian Academy overwhelms Southside Christian
February 2, 2024: Clayton, NC 27520 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wilson Christian Academy Chargers (Wilson, NC) and the host Southside Christian Warriors (Clayton, NC), saw Wilson Christian Academy's basketball squad wallop Southside Christian by a count of 43-21.
With the victory, Wilson Christian Academy upgrades its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Chargers host Hilltop Christian (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to play the Chargers in a NCCSA AA East Region 3 challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 9-10. Hilltop Christian won 36-25 in their recent league challenge against Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC)
Next up, the Warriors play the Jacksonville Christian Academy Conquerors (Jacksonville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Southside Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 42-40 league win over Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC).
